Valley City Termite Jamboree Rules

Games will consist of (2) 20 minute periods with a buzzer every 2 minutes for line changes. The games will be 4 on 4 with a goalie. A 5 minute warm up will be allowed.

1 coach from each team will skate with the team to help move the game along. There will be no other officials. Coaches are encouraged to stop play and give the puck to the opponent if a penalty occurs. No one will be sent to the penalty box. We leave it to the coach’s discretion to remove a player from the playing surface for a shift if there are repeated infractions by the same player.

Face offs will take place at the start of the period only. The puck will be left where it is currently at during a line change. After goals or frozen pucks, the attacking team will retreat and the team on defense will advance the puck.

There will not be a score kept for any game.
